Splattering: A technique that can help you express yourself through painting

Implied lines: Hidden lines that you can't see 
Intensity: The relative brightness or dullness of a color 
Intermediate colors: Colors made by mixing a secondary color with a primary color 
Blocking in: A technique that involves roughly establishing the composition of the subject with shapes and colors
